Step Mode
Step Mode operates very differently to Normal Practice. The score does not scroll across the screen, and there is no metronome. There is no time element at all.
When you click "Start Practice", or press ther Space Bar, the cursor will move to the first note(s) in the selected Section(s) if you have any selected, or the start of the whole piece of music.
Now you must press the correct note(s), and when you do the cursor will move to the next position - or step - in the music.
Be very careful, you need to release the note(s) at the correct time too.
You can tell when the correct time is by looking at the length bar - the grey line following each note - and making sure you keep
a note down if the length bar goes beyond the start of the next note in chords or in the other hand.
